Scrapbooking News Febuary 2012

Ok, so I am sitting in my bed having spent another hard day at the show over here in Anaheim, California; and yes it is not all wine and good times it really is hard work.

Whilst I have secured all your favorite paper craft brands, I do think you will be pleased with some of the new smaller companies, who will join our list of quality suppliers.

For all of you who are into steam punk and the grunge look, stand by; as not only will you be excited, but I can think of a couple of the girls on staff who might just get a little too excited with you.

As usual, Prima, Bo Bunny, Creative Imaginations, 7gypsies, Crafters workshop, Graphics 45, K&Co and Glitz (just to name a few) have really come up with some fabulous new designs and concepts. One of my favorite pick ups this year are a stamp range from a company called ‘Art Impressions’.  And if you have a silly sense of humour (like me) then you too will be highly amused. 

For paper ranges, my picks come from ‘Fab Scraps’ and ‘Canvas Corp’.Keep your eye out for the new cut 'fold and tuck' dies, along with sizzix 'pop n cuts', as these too will be great for both card makers and scrapboookers alike.

The winter weather here is very pleasant and it is a struggle not to just sit by the pool with a good book; but alas it will be back to the show tomorrow, just to ensure the best picks will all be on our shelves ready for you without delay.

Don’t forget we will be at the RNA for the Papercrafts Festival from 17-19th this month and as usual there will be bargains and hopefully some new and exciting things to learn.

Oh and I have not forgotten my fellow beaders - as I am off to Tucson in a couple of days to find some new goodies to excite us all.

Keep crafting, and if you haven’t been in for a while you will be excited to see the coffee machine has now been reinstalled down on the craft floor, so yet again you can enjoy a morning or afternoon tea whilst browsing the thousands of items waiting to help make your project special.
